Have been looking for way to sort foreign key records in Symfony 1.4 for few days. I’ve a staff table with a foreign key to comments. Whenever i call the StaffTable->getComments() the records return is not in alphabetical order. Finally i found some helpful tips from a forum (sorry i lost the forum url), and i manage to sort foreign key record with just a line of code. 🙂

If you have ssh service running, make sure you disable the root login. If you didnt disable the ssh root login, you are prone to brute force attack and once it breaks in, your server is owned. To prevent this happen, you can disable the root login thru the ssh. No worry, it’s not a very difficult task, just edit a line of configuration and restart the service then you are done.
Tried to import a mysql innodb from a sql dump file, but it keep show me there is an foreign key constraint error. Due to innodb has foreign key check validation, it does not allow me to continue n show me foreign key constraint error. Ya! I know my data having some foreign key constraint problem, but what i need to do now is to import my sql dump file!
