Window Vista has a cool preview pane in taskbar. You may disable the taskbar preview pane if you dont like it. It’s good to disable the taskbar preview pane if your do not have have enough RAM and processing power.
To disable taskbar preview pane in Vista, follow the steps below:-

- Right click on Start menu and click select “Properties”
- From the Properties window, uncheck the box for “Show window previews (Thumbnails)” and click Apply then OK button
- Done, you just disable the taskbar preview pane in Vista
** If you wan to enable the taskbar preview pane, just check the box for “Show window previews (Thumbnails)” at step 2 ***
