Free Project Management software for Mac OS X – GanttProject

Looking for free project management software for Mac OS X, i’d recommend GanttProject. GanttProject is a Free Project Management Software for Mac, Linux and Windows. This Project Management Software looks almost the same as Microsoft Project but it’s FREE (including commercial use).

Although the feature for this free project management software is not as much as Ms Project, most people only use 20% from what Ms Project provide. So i think this free project management software is enough for most of the people, unless you have very complicated project or you are an advance user for project management software.

Thanks for reviewing this – perfect for a class I am working in. Not expensive, does what it needs to do in this circumstance!

Today there a lot of options when speaking about project management software, and most popular sulutions are web-based. We’ve developed http://www.comindwork.com, because we believe that we can make a difference. We have free accounts as well that features unlimited users and 1 active project. And we have huge discounts for non-profit organizations.

Darren: tit seems Wrike only provide 30 days trial. after that you need to pay $4 / user.

I’ve tried several free pm tools, but none of them was good enough. I also tried free versions of paid software, like Zoho or Basecamp and chose free version of Wrike as the best option for my team. The thing that sucks here is that you can only create 20 tasks for free. As our project grows, we need more space, and I’m afraid I’m going to start paying $4 per month to use Wrike’s professional version.
