I need to export Google calendar for some offline processing and just get to know that Google Calendar allow you to export the calendar to an ical file easily. Just few clicks away and you will be able to export all your Google Calendar into a zip file. Once the zip file is extracted, you will get all your calendars in .ics format.

I feel very irritating whenever i start Picasa as i’ll see Picasa scan all my folder to import new images. There’s no way for me to cancel the import scanning. After some research, there is a setting to limit the folder for import scanning every time Picasa start. Just few clicks in the settings and you are done.
