try pressing ( Windows Button + M ) on your keyboard.

this will bring you back to desktop

This tutorial will create the button Show Desktop to show your desktop (wallpaper). i havent come to any way that it show the desktop folder. Anyone have the same problem?

Thank you for the EASY directions to get the icon back. I have it on my taskbar, but it is a shortcut to the desktop “folder” only – containing the icons, folders, shortcuts etc. on my desktop. How can I get the “wallpaper” desktop??? (the monitor as it appears when no programs or files are open)
