I too had the same error, but in my case the folder and file were already created.
Well it turned out that the config.xml file was installed with read only access, so i just right clicked the file and changed the permission to read and write access . These solved the problem, =)

BTW, I’m running Xubuntu Hardy.

I too went and looked for the location and couldn’t find it. I even did a search on FireFox; another search on Mozilla; and another search on profile…nothing. Can I create the folder?
