How to remove Help button from Start Menu for Win XP/2000/Me

This solution work for Windows XP, 2000 and ME.

Just follow the steps below and you can remove the help button from start menu:-

Advertisements

– Start => Run => Enter regedit
– Look for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer
– Create a new DWORD value “NoSMHelp” with the value of 1, or modify this key if exists.
– Exit your registry and logout your window to take effect.

Important Note: This tutorial teach you how to modify the registry. Make sure to back up the registry before you modify it. Make sure that you know how to restore the registry if a problem occurs.
